John A. McCreight
Since 1968, John McCreight has devoted
his consulting career to serving senior executives, primarily
in technology-focused industries, designing and implementing
strategic change for a wide portfolio of global organizations.
He began his career as Information Technology Section Chief
with Textron and Thiokol, contractors to NASA
and the Department of Defense's Minuteman and Apollo Programs.
He has also been a partner and member of the executive committee
of Touche Ross (presently Deloitte Consulting).
Mr. McCreight's experience includes a full time assignment
to co-lead a Presidential Commission established to strengthen
the organizational effectiveness of the US Navy. Beyond his
managing partner role with the CIO Group, Mr. McCreight founded
and currently leads McCreight & Company, Inc., a firm
specializing in Strategy Implementation with a concentration
in five industries: Technology and Automotive, Information
and Media, Life Sciences, Professional Services and Foundations.
Mr. McCreight is a member of the American
Association for the Advancement of Science, the New York Academy
of Sciences, the Foreign Policy Association, the Forum for
World Affairs, the Institute of Management Consultants and
the National Sciences Foundation. He holds a BS in Management
Sciences from Northeastern University.
